I've lived in the Owner's Suite since the year began (plus a day or two) and I have arranged or rearranged things nearly constantly. Finally, there is a plan. The plan is a compromise between what I'd like to do versus what I can do.
I'd like to add wooden walls over the cinder block walls of the basement, with electrical wiring at least per code, with outlets every so many feet of wall. I can't add any new wiring without upgrading from 100-amp service to 200-amp service or better. I can't afford the lumber to cover all the walls.
I can use non-structural dividers. What I have in fact done is use 84" curtains with hardware mounted to the exposed joists.

THE EXTERIOR "WALL" OF THE OWNER'S SUITE
Next we come to furnishings and furniture. For the moment, there are three bookcases doing duty as kitchen and pantry. If there was a solid wall behind them, I'd be happy to continue using them that way. That's the way the unit containing the microwave and toaster oven were used back in the days of the garage apartment, but then I had wall-mounted cabinets. My cutlery and dishes were never out in the open.
These bookcases will shortly be replaced by two 4-shelf storage units and a baker's rack. I've already assembled the baker's rack, shown below. It came with a wooden shelf, and I added enough shelf liners to cover every shelf. Things would tend to fall through the wire shelves, otherwise.
There will be additional pictures as the new shelving is assembled and populated. The old bookcases will be repurposed - at least one will move to the Garden Room and house hydroponic gardens.
THE BAKER'S RACK
2023-10-04 Update
Two Baker's Racks and two matching shelving units, all equipped with a charcoal shelf liner occupy a section of the expanded space.
AN ACTUAL KITCHEN AREA IN THE OWNER'S SUITE
SAME AS ABOVE FROM A FEW STEPS FURTHER AWAY
The left-hand baker's rack holds all of my cooking appliances except the mini-crock-pot, somewhat visible on the extreme left. The pot was out for washing. The toaster oven is still physically above the microwave. The rolling storage racks are my pantry. All the dry goods and some of the canned goods are on their shelves.
On the refrigerator door you can see magnetic shelves. The upper shelves are where I keep the spices. The lower shelves are for teas and sweeteners with hooks for scissors. Four pairs of scissors.
There's a lazy Susan next to the toaster oven with all my oils, vinegars, marinades, sauces, an the like. Well, except for the stuff that said "refrigerate after opening."
THE OFFICE
My desk with All-in-1 computer on a raised shelf, keyboard underneath with the mouse. On the wall to the left we have two cork-boards above three hanging file thingies. To the right are my portable hanging file boxes. The TV tray is covered with unopened mail and... stuff.

I had all these magnetic strips...
